Sydney Brown has range and physicality, he just needs to learn how to wrap up
On the broadcast of the game just now they mentioned that Hurts was at the team walkthrough yesterday, meaning he's likely in Phase 3 of the protocol (can do light football activities with the team for up to 30 minutes)
All that would be left is non-contact individual drills (Phase 4) and then a full practice (Phase 5) before clearance. Things look good
It don’t matter we’re a quarterback factory
I feel so damn confident about this game. am i crazy? I think Love is massively overrated.
he misses balls routinely when put under the slightest of pressure. we made his life uncomfy week 1 and that was before our defense really stepped it up a notch.

He loves throwing off of his back foot so his mechanics are inconsistent and I don't love him as a decision maker either. He has a big arm, has a throwing motion like Rodgers and plays for the Packers so he gets looked at in a light that I'm not ready to put him in yet.
As you mentioned, we've already seen him before and that was before the defense hit their stride. Not to mention he'll likely be without Christian Watson (their truest deep threat) and best corner in Jaire Alexander.
I'm with you in that I am very confident in this matchup.

on top of all of this, it feels like there is not a recency bias, but im using that term in lack of a better one, of people looking at both teams last playoff runs.

I do agree with this. I saw a tweet just this morning warning people not to overlook the Packers, and some of the points were valid. The one point that I outright disagreed with is when the person mentioned how Green Bay blew out Dallas in the WC round last year. Two things:
1) This isn't last year
2) We're not Dallas!
If people are still looking at the 2024 Eagles through the lens of the 2023 Eagles then they truly have not been watching our games. The way we are firmly confident going into the WC round this year is how sure we would be a first round exit during the slide last season.

absolutely.

We are winning by 2+ scores.
People are pretending this is last years packers team. I mean they won 12 games as a 7 seed. Nothing to scoff at. But they really don’t look great and they’re banged up.
Eagles are just different this year. Physically imposing on both sides of the ball. We should be in the NFCC at a minimum or else this season was a complete failure. If we have to go up against the Lions I like our chances but damn they are good, it’ll be a challenge for our Defense.
Jalen still in protocol.... I'm not hopeful he's playing.

You need at least one limited and one full practice to be cleared from protocol. Asking Nick questions about it on Monday is stupid because Hurts' status was never gonna change lol
cope
Nick going to get lit up if Jake misses a game winner lol
Where is the playoff hype video
Saquon and Baun made 1st Team All-Pro
Mailata, Lane, JC and AJ made 2nd Team
Not only did Zack Baun make First Team, he received the most first team votes out of all LB in the league. The only two defensive players in general to receive more first team votes than him were Myles Garrett and Pat Surtain II
I think Lane should've made First Team, but I'm just glad they still gave Mailata a nod even with games missed. Can't have him get snubbed from Pro Bowl and the All-Pro lists
Where is the playoff hype video

Hard to argue against Wirfs and Sewell getting the 1st team nod, but would have liked to see either Lane or Jordan get one of the spots

Lane definitely should've gotten it, Mailata I get cause of missed time. I'm just glad they didn't snub Mailata entirely so I'm happy
Just clocked that Howie signed Saquon and Baun on the same day in FA and they both made First Team lol
