Can someone give me a basic rundown of why things fell apart this season?

Didn't keep up with the Eagles too much this year so it's crazy to see this without knowing much

some thoughts on this team and nick

1) It feels as if the defensive locker room was lost when nick made the change at coordinator. desai sucked but you can’t really pull that move mid season. guys on defense aren’t the most talented but they completely played down to comp and made mistakes that were either because they gave up, or the coaching in practice was dog s***. little miscues like running into each other, dropping easy INTs, missing tackles. all those little miscues add up and usually indicate s*** coaching and s*** practice. not all of these guys are bums right? if they were on other organizations they would step up in the moment and make plays. not saying these guys on the defensive end are flawless, just saying it’s clear they’ve been coached down.

2) James Bradberry under mo circumstance should still be getting burn. he’s horrid out there and the fact he wasn’t cut, regardless of the cap hit, is madness.

3) Offense needs to figure it the f*** out quite honestly. playcalling was so unimaginative Nicks entire tenure. Steichen made it work somehow, but let’s not act like even in his years we kinda cringed a bit at times with his playcalling too. the playbook just stinks. and it’s nicks. it’s so predictable,
it’s like nick for some reason wanted to prove to the world Jalen has an arm and isn’t just a rusher. that’s how it felt with all the fades and deep shots. He continues to go away from the run game, whether it’s working or not it’s just a no no. offense comes predictable every game when they ditch the run and swift gets dejected. ineligible receiver down field is just yet another sign of the bad coaching. only ever seen it called as often and much as it does against the Sirianni eagles. lastly, i know our offensive line is GOOD, and maybe i need to watch tape on it but fact of matter is it’s aging, and it ain’t the greatest no more. i dare say it steadily got worse as the season went on. more penalties, more pressure given up. could be in part teams blitzing more, but the teams gotta pick up a blitz sometime. this part concerns me though, cause it felt like their was a decline in their play the entire season quite honestly. maybe i’m wrong and gotta go grind the tape, but only one of those f***ers was an all pro so.. i’m not sure they’re the world beaters they once were.

yea man nick’s gotta go. too many good coaches out there. he very clearly treated the chiefs game like the super bowl, and it would appear he treated that stretch of games like it, because the team just totally gave up after they won some games some people maybe didn’t think they would

regarding HC: need one of the guys who is a PROVEN head coach. not sure gambling on a first time head coach is the best idea with this team, but it could lead to striking gold so
