Literally just the Washington game from last year

Guys blaming Brian Johnson for yesterday's loss is weird to me. You want to point to the run-pass ratio, I guess but the run game wasn't very effective outside of the QB runs. Plus with the game still being tight the whole way you don't want to get too conservative in those situations. The offense just played like some hoes, simple as that

Bad O all around. RZ still not looking great. Poor play calling. Bad stops. Jalen kept them in the game for 3 quarters then collapsed in the 4th with some stupid throws. It was one of those weeks. Defense looked great which is disappointing we wasted it

Let me preface this by saying I'm not blaming Jalen for the loss, but I'd be lying if I said that last INT didn't disappoint me because in those situations we know him to be the one who won't make the mistake. Like you said, just one of those weeks so this isn't a referendum on him as a player. Because the fact of the matter is if we want to be sincere, DeVonta Smith played probably the worst game I've seen him play as a pro or even in college. Again, we know him to be better than that. Gainwell drops on the sideline, Goedert gets the ball knocked out leading to an INT, Swift getting the ball punched out. Just very odd s***.

But yes, very encouraged by the defense...again! But Howie get me a safety man we had UDFA corners cosplaying as safeties out there with Reed going down I'm not f***ing with it Whole secondary getting battered

That dude f***ing tweaked out over one loss grow some f***ing balls nigga. Was it frustrating? Absolutely, but the issues there are correctable. We lead in every major statistical category (total offensive yardage, 3rd down%, 4th down%, red zone efficiency, TOP, YPP, fewer penalties, more sacks, etc.) except for one (4 turnovers to 0). That is a tale as old as time itself; you turn the ball over you can, and likely will, lose to anyone.

The recipe for that? Taking care of the ball, and I have faith in Sirianni, Hurts, and the rest of the leadership of the team to get that handled.

but totally agree. your washington comp was a good one, very similar to that game and the lead up to it was as well. taking care of business but still weren’t putting it together 100%. hopefully we respond big against the dolphins and do the same thing this year.
