Chief JulioI'm not one for the Week 1 overreactions, especially for a team that didn't play starters in preseason. Weird Week 1s, on the road, in the rain, weird s*** happens and I'm confident we'll be fine.
One thing that I WILL say though, and that I do not think is an overreaction: get this oaf Justin Evans out of the starting lineup and plant his ass on special teams. He shouldn't even be our 3rd safety, idc if Sydney Brown might be erratic early on. Y'all want him to start eventually and the soft part of our schedule is early, get him in there
Agreed, there’s no reason Sydney shouldn’t get the nod after watching Justin Evans play. Definitely no reason to overreact though, lot of factors that played into this being an ugly game. Looking forward to Thursday

Definitely not his best game. The OL was a little leaky but I also saw him bail early a few times. Overall not sounding any alarms but he absolutely could've played better (the entire offense really)

I've NEVER seen an Eagles rookie step into the league and perform like this. Chris Long just said on Twitter and on his podcast that he heard from someone at camp that JC is already our best defensive player, and honestly I could see it. He was our best player period yesterday

not an amazing game or anything, but he had a few cool runs, a few impressive passes. he didn't pop off, but it looks like he's still got it.
