I can definitely admit that the detective/investigation angle feels tighter in 4, and it sometimes feel like they're drinking from the same fountain

I still hold that there's enough differences in the approach in 5 to where it feels fresh. now whether it's a better story, I still don't know

they do a way bettter job of depicting Akechi as being a genius with the narrative than they did with Naoto Shirogane (or anyone from 4's Detective team) for one
