What's the gameplay like?
Its got like 2 parts. A life sim and also a dungeon crawler type thing going on.
Life sim part of the game involves going to school and making bonds with other NPCs, and doing various activities. It actually ties in with the dungeon aspect because making connections with NPCs can give you access to special abilities in the dungeon part of the game.
The dungeon part (called Palaces) involve turn based combat using Personas (you can kind of think of them as Pokemon's) and exploring different Palaces. As you get into combat with different enemies you can obtain them and make them your own personas so you can use them in combat too. Its also got a really cool fusion system where you can sacrifice 2 personas to make a completely new one, im not the best at explaining but its dope af
One of the main appeal for this game is just how well it ties these two together, that and the turn based combat probably one of the best turn based combat systems oat.

And once you become more familiar with the system it's gonna be like at least 2x faster than that video tho for normal encounters
so fast and fluid

best feeling is when you enter an encounter, press the R1 button and every f***ing enemy is weak to one of your elements
Currently with the Kasumi theme, imagine seeing best girl every time you launch your ps4
did you end up buying any of the dlc? I almost caved in and copped the kasumi dlc but she's barely playable

Yea nah okamaru is bullshit. Literally getting the robot down to like 10 hp but they still run away and you have to do it again
Why they torturing me?
Think I broke the game, they ended up giving me one level 20 Persona with Regenerate 1, 2, 3, Life Aid, Heat Up, Endure, Life Drain, and Fortify Spirit during a botched fusion

network fusions are super op too when u unlock those. I got spell master, repel phys, and enduring soul on just one persona
low-key the fusion alarm skills are better than the ones you already have on them I always take them lol

the voice acting just makes it even better. and his all out attack sprite where he's holding his hand out
Do I want to hangout with and raise Ohya's confidant level?

It's really nothing to understand or to complex. Lord I hope you haven't been using basic persona you get from palace. You're missing out. Basically you want to get the strongest persona. You can either get an unstoppable physical monster like Yoshitsune, A broken magic caster like Michael or Satan, or something of a hybrid like Izanagi. You have to fuse certain ones to get that certain persona. For example, I like to use a invincible Yoshitsune. In order to get that kind of Yoshitsune I have to fuse certain Persona and pass on abilities such as Null Nuke, Null Curse, etc. You can also do this and make meme persona. Like in Royal you can make a weak Pixie into a unstoppable monster through fusing.

!https://youtu.be/o9HdBIqeESIYea I always fuse lol
Just saying the process still doesn't make sense but it's probably because it's not really complicated
Just keep fusing which is what I do now
Definitely gonna get all the strongest personas for my merciless run on my second playthrough
Yea I always fuse lol

The point of it isn't to just fuse to tho lol Fusion is how you get persona stronger. Its a hidden mechanic in the game that raises stats during fusion alarms. It's how you get persona with 99 max stats. Like for example my Michael that has some OP support skills may be stronger than your basic Michael you just got from the multi-fusion. Its also how you wind up getting broken persona like the Pixie I linked you in the video. Like getting a certain persona with certain passive or attacking techniques. Find a OP persona recipe you want and go for that persona.

I believe it just fuses a persona of the average between the two levels. Might have something to do with arcana too.
there's 3 fusions that only have 1 very specific recipe tho (Alice, Shiva, and idr the last one).
