They really did write & design Makoto like a self insert character. Smarter than everyone, best skills in battle, obvious pushing of her as the primary love interest, etc. It rly pisses me off when your teammates ask what you should do re: palaces/battle etc and if you select the ‘wrong answer’ she corrects you, or if you say the right thing she’s like ‘I agree!’ B**** shut it
