haven't touched reload in like a month after the tokyo trip. I really can't bring myself to finish it. I loved the original p3 but the remake is fine. Some adjustments to the game are fine. The absolute chore that are the new doors and passages puts me to sleep with how repetitive they get. The skills are overpowered to hell and am playing on the highest difficulty and am breezing through it all lol.
There's some nice additions like the pseudo social links but I really can live without them.
The fact that the protagonist awakening scene didn't get an animated scene but some 3d bs while the team with their goofy new outfits did pissed me off more than anything else lol.

Made it to the Adachi reveal and holy s\*\*\*, this nigga was wilding during the confrontation :hah: Expected him to be the villain but I wasn't expecting him to be on some loser/misogyny s\*\*\*

So I made it to December 22 in P4G. Got all the weapons and armor I wanted for each character, fused the persona I intend on using in the next dungeon. Will take it on over the weekend

Is Christmas Eve with one gf really worth it? Had Yukiko maxed for a while, recently maxed Rise too on this save. But I also have another save just before I got romantic with Rise, maybe in early Dec. Do you think the one gf Christmas Eve is worth me going through all that time leveling social links on another save and beating the antagonist twice? I think the only difference is my friends will hang out with me on Christmas Eve instead?

Started The Hollow Forest and I knew about the SP draining but taking all the items you have equipped and in your inventory too is so ass Had Chakra Ring, Mage's Mark equipped to combat the SP thing and I can't even use them

Persona 4 remake basically confirmed? These bozos got time to do everything except P6 huh

Ngl, I'm still bitter about this. Tried playing last night, went up 2 floors running past most enemies instead of fighting them and I just turned the game off

They really didn't have to take away all the weapons/armor and inventory items the player had. I specifically stocked up to prepare myself for the SP draining, bought the best weapons/armor and it didn't even matter

Never played 4 so this will be fun. I know people REALLY like 4 but it'd be tough for me to like anything more than 5. The music and system just works well for me.

Currently playing 4 and I prefer the plot and characters in 4 over 5 by far (only played standard 5 tho, not Royal). 5 obviously has better gameplay and QOL features

Depends what you value most; P5 has infinitely better QoL (though the remaster will probably fix some of these) and way more supplemental side content outside of the main game, and I don’t think the remaster will get close to that stuff.

P4 excels in putting you in an intimate, almost ethereal provincial quiet town with a much tighter focus on the characters and their interactions together.

In terms of feeling like an actual team of friends: 1. Investigation Team (P4); 2. Phantom Thieves (P5); 3. SEES (P3)

Kinda comforting to me it's a while off. I'm currently 105+ hours deep into P4G, would've been heated if they dropped a remake right after I finished it
