I think that’s how it should be, that feels like a good amount of time for them to perfect their process. 5 years between P3 and 4, but the technology was a little bit simpler and they didn’t milk P3 quite as much as the P4 to P5 gap. That was 9 years, and a huge jump in technology
With how much resources they’ve dedicated towards placating us with content after P5 OG, 8-9 years feels like a success honestly
Dude, it's Persona. It's a pretty straightforward process. Shouldn't take 9-10 years for the next installment lol They just lost their minds w/P5 popularity and went spin-off crazy.

What’s the point of the first half of this post if you understand the cause of the gap is because the second half of your post
It should take that time because the majority of the audience wants content in between personas. I’ve seen much more people want a truly rebuilt Persona 3 than anything else from Atlus. People wanted a P4G version of P5. Those were goals that had to be done before P6, and they take time
I would’ve done P3 v2 first and then let the heart yearn for more P5 in the back half of this gap (basically flipped the way they did it)
But with having to open the floodgates to Microsoft and Nintendo, that was probably unrealistic

Lol man, you claimed that's how it should be and you implied they needed time to perfect their "process". I'm literally pointing out that 1. I disagree. 2. It doesn't take a decade to release another title
Furthermore, just because I acknowledged they went spin off crazy doesn't negate the first half of my post
Lol and please don't uses phrases like "The majority of audience". A lot of people have been ready to move on from P5. You just took 3 years playing it.

Ok
Ok
I mean, you gotta understand they don't even develop all these spin-offs themselves lol

you on crack if you think a majority of persona fans WANT content/spinoffs in between the numbered games
peep the sales numbers for all of the spinoffs and you'll see the MAYBE a fifth of the people actually buy them (being generous using Strikers too, which is the biggest P5 spinoff).
I am more than fine with some of the spinoffs because Strikers was a fantastic game, but you know damn well people just want the next numbered title in the series (without it taking 7+ years).

You feel differently and I understand that.

Lol like
Bro said most Persona fans want Rhythm games, Musou games, Mobile games, Strategy games & Ports/Remakes before another mainline entry. One of the most highly anticipated games right now is P6.
He better take that s*** off his resume completely and hope they don’t BG check or he’s cooked with any other studios lmao
I want a steelbook
Oh well... I guess... I mean I am not surprised if this is true
2026
11 years for a sequel
Didnt some leaker say 2024? 2026 seems way too far off
I think I remember hearing something like that. To be fair, they said by 2026. Regardless, still f***ing unreal. Assuming this is real, I'm sure all the fans are going to be jumping for joy when they announce Persona Party and another spinoff instead of P6
