GhomaThanks bro, and what's crazy is there's a much higher risk of unwanted pregnancy than catching an STD with a condom (15% chance). Really mind boggling if you think about it and makes me question everything with dating.
At the same time these are the risks I'll have to accept if I want to continue finding someone. Otherwise I'd have to abstain from s***and that s*** seems lame ngl.

Nov 15, 2023·1 replyIf your partner is on medication for it and you regularly get tested you'll be alright. Just throw a condom on. They also do have a medication that helps prevent it as well. It's one of those extremely common STIs and there are plenty of ways to treat it despite there not being a cure for it.

If your partner is on medication for it and you regularly get tested you'll be alright. Just throw a condom on. They also do have a medication that helps prevent it as well. It's one of those extremely common STIs and there are plenty of ways to treat it despite there not being a cure for it.
It's also (I think) only contagious during times of outbreaks and viral shedding if I remember correctly, said this earlier but I know somebody who had kids with someone with it and neither them nor the children had it

Me and her are in limited contact, going out as friends tomorrow. There’s a chance of rebound for a relationship, but we’ll see.

Right on, only during outbreaks/shedding. In my case with her, she probably sheds only around 3-4 days per year (1% rate). Incredibly low if you ask me tbh
