I think I have to resist the urge to buy a 3080 for now
Same
Gonna hold out for the 3060 since I'm at 1080p/144, but Nvidia's is rly popping off rn
Same. If I upgraded I'd have to get 2 new 4K monitors and unload a 1080ti & 1080
Holding out until I literally can't play games on Ultra/high any longer
Cant wait til I get situated and can finally build a pc. Might go prebuilt too tho.
My current laptop runs practically anything pretty well but I want a desktop
8k..
8K?
Imagine not gaming in 8K

NVIDIA WASNT CAPPING

I've been like that for a minute. Still holding on to my poor R9 380
Hoping the 3060 will keep me on ultra/high at 60+ fps for the next ~4 years since I hate upgrading too often
Must
Resist
My 1070ti is fine
Set up ps2 emulator

You can also buy a very cheap used console and put a soft mod on it. Then you can burn the games on DVDs and play them
I just spent $1200 on a 2080 too lol.
but why. We knew new cards were coming in late 2020

It was one of those culmination moments, I've had these list of dream parts on my wishlist for God knows how long. I finally had the means to start buying parts. Because of COVID, everything is selling out or going up in price...
Plus look at this f--king thing!

20series is one of the worse for generations ever feel bad for people that bought it
I have seen this coming since the 2080ti is only 35% stronger than 1080ti that s*** is garbage
Now we back to 60-80% gain
On that note it still important to wait for AMD new line up first for the people that gonna buy 3070 and 3080 don't think amd can top 3090 if you are looking for that price range (overkill, work card)
