Everyone ITT needs to play Valorant. Incredible game

The game is fun. But I suck ass at CS... so it's not surprising that I suck at this too lol.

I wish it was a paid advertisement. But it’s not. Just genuine feelings on the game.

Finally got a mouse with the side buttons. Joint game changing on MMOs, with that shift button

Hey fam, I just got my first entry level gaming laptop (Acer Nitro 5), and honestly the biggest decision was for it was just for recording my music, and casual music production/gaming (lightweight on both, I still game on my PS4 for the most part), though I have been playing D*** Dealing Simulator//New Vegas, prob am gonna get some older games like Oblivion and some Indie PC games to be on the safe side, though I did have two questions.

One, what would be like, the best modern games (like GTA V, for example, and while I don't expect to run RDR2 on high settings or anything, I just realized I paid more for my PS4 for this, and wanna make the most outta it outside of music) that can run on my system decently? My specs are

    CPU: Intel Core i5-9300H processor

    RAM: 8GB DDR4

    GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650

Two, what would be some things to look for for when I upgrade to a desktop? I was highly just considering getting a Mac because like I said, I'm more media oriented, though I do enjoy gaming and it is one of my considerations, even though I will be getting a PS5

I think you can pretty much run anything look at this video, same computer as yours. The witcher 3 runs at 60+ on high youtu.be/XDL209djz04

Glad i pulled the trigger on this y540, I can play pretty much anything at ultra 1080p + my temps are super cool after this undervolt

I’ll be building a tower once the nvidia 3000 series and the ryzen 4000 series drop

Just built a PC on my own for the first time. Going from GTX 970 to RTX 2070 Super and running games at 144hz and 1440p is nuts

just pulled the trigger on an upgrade

just upgraded. No more stuttering in games and cpu utilization at like 7% in demanding games

next up is GPU whenever the 3000 series launches

Need AMD or even Nvidia to come with a nice budget raytracing GPU soon. Prices in Canada are insane. Not paying 700 for a 2070s

2060 super is your best option, no budget amd card will have ray tracing according to leaks

Mostly for futureproofing since consoles now have it. I got a whole new build a bout a month ago except for my graphics card. Looking for a good upgrade from my R9 280x, but don't wanna be left without raytracing for the next few years considering theres a big push for it this year.

It's why I'm willing to wait for the latest offerings from AMD and nvidia

I've had these for ~4 years. No issues other than the cord is kinda short.
