Saint SeiyaI love PTA but this s*** just looking too white for me. I’m curious to be wrong but coming of age movies are tough if you just can’t relate and the trailer was giving me the vibe I wouldn’t be able to get on board. I love every PTA so I’m happy to be wrong.

Had already seen Boogie Nights and PDL but he didn't have near that stature he has now so we just thought it was gonna be a cool movie

100% but it’s more that it’s white guy coming of age type s***. I find this kinda deal can rely on nostalgia. Need something to grab onto tbh. But hey I felt the same trepidation about ladybird but was able to dig it bc of the catholic s*** cuz I went to a catholic hs. Just didn’t see much in the trailer that hooked me still seein it day one tho.
