Top 3 cinema experience with my friends for sure. Lost our s***.

would argue it's his most rewatchable film too, not too emotionally draining just a rollercoster ride of craziness

    Yeah, I can co-sign that.
It’s like lying on the beaches of California in the 70s. You’re in a weed haze, trying to grab on to the last genuine expressions of peace and love before the movement is co-opted by dark forces.

Movies where the mystery is actually the point is one of my fav sub-genres:

The Long Goodbye, Inherent Vice, Under the Silver Lake, The Big Lebowski, Mulholland Drive

It ends up being a big anti-climax because the mystery was just a vehicle used to reveal something about the culture during the time the movie was set

only seen Laura and Double Indemnity from this but am familiar with all of them just wanted to see your favorites The Third Man was one of the first films that really got me into cinema, will always hold a special place for me. Does remind me a bit of IV too in terms of a mystery going down the rabbit hole

I appreciate that you give love to the underrated vibey s***.
But there’s room in ones heart for both those, and the epic classics.
