I agree that everyone is being too critical and not actually taking the time to enjoy the album, but Party definitely tried to move up on The Weeknd’s release date. Album got postponed TWICE

That Pitchfork review is cringeworthy, he even made a poor attempt at joking about Recognize and Eye On It. Idk how some of these magazines have writers this out of tune with the actual art

The release date was suspiciously moved to a week after The Weeknd’s. I don’t know how much of it was designed based on any possible issues between both camps or the Rihanna Feat. Either way the rollout was terrible and overdue
