Either way the news still fire and Nothing Less sounds like its gonna be on that vibe so I'm sure I'll enjoy parts of the album, but these snippets don't give me the impression of that party's about to deliver some truly inspired stuff. It's disappointing to me since I always felt like party doesn't just drop just to drop, he's always had something to get off his chest emotionally through his music. I mean we've heard a quarter of the album and he hasn't had prod creds on anything, idt its being overly dramatic to be disappointed at that

I agree but honestly these snippets don't sound like he's about to bring anything new/ any unique flavors to that dancehall/afrobeat sound. Also let's not act like adopting that trendy sound is some kind of brave artistic evolution, imo it's clearly an attempt to gain more listeners. There's plenty of great artists in that lane rn (Burna boy, wizkid, J hus, Santi) so theres a standard that I just don't think he's reaching but again we'll find out thursday night.
