weeknd: some bullshit about how trilogy or kissland was his peak, but everything else is still remarkable blindly avoiding when his s*** sound the same and running up the streams for the f*** of it cause it's the weeknd, bad b****es love the weeknd bc he sang with lana del rey hurr durr. and some fake ass heartbreak sad music or whatever it is that he dropped on AH

party: we know when s*** is mid and we'll address it. we completely understand that his music ain't for everybody on first listen, it takes multiple ones to get used to and even then it might be too unorthodox for some. but nonetheless, he doesn't give a f*** at the end of the day what we think, we just gonna have to listen to whatever he put out and that's the way it should be as the freedom of an artist isn't dictated by what fans want, it's what the artist is feeling atm

Vocally, the album is just amazing, ngl...but the type of music choosen is not what i want and like from abel, "too late" i love the vocals, but im not fan of that type of music, i respect the fact he's always trying new things and risking, but it's not cuz it's "The Weeknd" im gonna be blinded and say "My gawd, its a classiiiiiic".

no lies were said in your post brother i like where the vocals were going as well, but at the end of the day the whole record was just not pieced together well enough to even sound remotely genuine or from the heart.

Idk I have faith in Party but the three songs he’s dropped are good but not mindblowing. The production on all three songs are so basic it seems like Party is playing it safe this album.

my theory is that he's either burned out or traumatized by something bc in my humble opinion p2 was his peak, and that was the most unapologetic party we gotten thus far. he went from saying s*** like

"laughin the whole way, i pull out like skrr! i got d**** i got lean, does it look like i curr!"

to

"hurt me then tell me man up, hurt me then tell me stand up"

like we need party prod. & writing back, and we need unapologetic party back, but i can't speak for the man or what he's been thru and respect his artistic decisions as a fan
