I feel like Mother I Sober leaves it ambiguous, and I think it could be very possible something did happen to Kendrick, a big part of the album's themes is suppressing trauma, 'pain bodies'.

in that sense, every time I listen to it and he has the bar and says "Never lied, but no one believed me when I said "He didn't"
I get the sense of him as a Kid saying nothing happened, even if something did, not to lie, but because he could have blocked it out.

then towards the end he says "I know the secrets, every OTHER rapper sexually abused
I see 'em daily burying they pain in chains and tattoos"
indicating that possibly due to things like therapy and maturing, different experiences, and reflecting on his mother's trauma as an adult led him to accept and confront this part of his past
