Do we know if Oliver and Future have official roles? I’m actually surprised Oliver is not the CEO, from some old interviews it seemed the OVO clothing brand was what he spearheaded

It seems here OVO is really just the merch business and doesn’t cover OVOsound but that is weird given his background with Majid. You would think OVOsound would be a subsidiary of “OVO” also, so the merch uses the umbrella name as its operating name, but really it is own legal entity / has a different legal name.

I am sure they own a percentage of it and have places in the board
But the day-to-day stuff… they probably have people hired to do
These guys probably have many investments at this point to manage
And just travel. Enjoy life

Drake was never the CEO. Hes an artist first and not really involved in the label stuff except for signing Naomi, Baka & Smiley
Edit: he also called 40 about dvsn when he found out its daniel & nineteen85, who they had been working with for years. So thats when 40 knew they were a good fit for OVO
