i think im one of the only people on here still playing ow but lowkey they've been slowly coming back since the poor launch of OW2.

-removed purchase/battlepass for new heroes
-quicker/ more frequent balance changes/updates
-a string of great hero design (Venture, Juno, Hazard, Freja)
-adding back lootboxes containing all previous battlepass/shop items (not big for me but huge for the community)
-added "perks" to change the flow from game to game
-added hero bans to competitive mode (being able to ban Widowmaker, Sombra, Wrecking Ball, Mercy, etc makes games a lot more managable)
-Stadium mode is a fresh and fun mode with a lot of potential.

Marvel Rivals really had them step up and start to reshape the future of the game since the ow2 launch and i think its sitting in a good place right now. Rivals is a lot of fun, but coming back to OW2 really shows that Blizzard polish that I personally think is lacking in Marvel Rivals.

i think overwatch is my comfort game, i keep coming back to it every so often

all these changes they done since i last played (late 2023) is really fun
