the middle third of that movie is so f***ing annoying I rewatched it last week
it's a little annoying
The dude from Bugonia should’ve been nominated for best supporting actor. And should’ve won too
Plemons?
Next year Digger sweep. We’re ready
Nah the dude who played Don
Hate the way they do supporting noms. It's basically the co-lead award at this point

Still can't believe it swept so hard
Excited though cause I worked the sets she's gonna be acting her ass off in Social Reckoning this year. Nobody else in the crew realized we were gonna have a hot off the press Best Actress on deck lol.
so i think im predicting Penn, Madigan, and Chalamet
Buckley such a shoe-in it's not worth mentioning?
For a very good performance!
Better than Demi though? All because she put on a Brooklyn accent and showed her a******?

that's what demi did as well (minus the accent)
yeah lol
I feel like mourning mother is like a cheat code for this s***
Amanda Seyfried did more interesting work. even Emma did.

It’s a French movie though the a****** is more tasteful
said this another thread but my snobby oscar 2026 take is that jessie buckley in hamnet is the same type of empty, juvenile, substanceless use of an actors insane level talents in the same way that joker was joaquin phoenix. both got them oscars but the movies that contain the great performances are completely lacklustre and dumb
Best Actor always gets s*** for having a bad winner but looking over at the Best Actress category and I’d say it’s pretty even over the past decade.
