A random schizo I can believe, him being allowed to walk around with a long gun, climb atop a roof, crawl around, with two snipers aimed directly at him, and still manage to get multiple shots off - that i can’t believe

I think it being an inside job, with the intention to successfully assassinate him, is not entirely implausible.

The fact that he was left wide open, you had snipers seemingly with eyes on the suspect while Trump is still talking and completely unaware, the guy claiming he was telling secret service and police for three minutes and being ignored… and how would this 20 year old kid have figured out where the security perimeter ended and know that this roof top would have a perfect view of Trump and also be unguarded?

That’s all pretty odd to me. I’m still subscribing to the “lone wolf lucked out and exploited secret service’s surprising incompetence” in the mean time. And once we have more info some of this could make more sense.

Maybe he had a drone so he could see what buildings didn’t have security, maybe the secret service was actually aware of the guy on the roof and assessing the situation when the one dude was trying to get their attention, maybe the snipers were trying to get a look at him to make sure he had a weapon before causing a scene.

The old “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” quote comes in handy here.

I have zero doubt in my bones that this man is winning this election now.

As much as I hate everything he stands for that looked presidential af. True leadership at a time when leadership looks historically weak.

And voters are f***ing stupid. They will not look past the baseline here. He is taking this s*** 1hunnid. I'm just trying to rationalize how to accept the last few months of democracy left in the world.

Once America becomes a dictatorship, other countries will undoubtedly follow suit. Worldwide far right movements are on an incredibly upwards trajectory. Once America switches and it gets accepted the rest will follow within the decade.

Do I actually believe Trump will commit genocide? No I'm exaggerating.

Do I think they will let him stay in the white house? Yes. Our own government just gave him immunity. The supreme court is fully on his side and is giving him as much power as can be . This nigga can do whatever at this point and he has a large loyal following that will let him do whatever.

As evidenced by his first term, he stress tested damn near all of our barriers and if you have a large contingent of people and your party in full support of you...then you can do whatever the f*** you want.

The only thing that stopped him was getting voted out, and even that was about 5 seconds and a couple of security guards doing their jobs right from not happening. If those Jan 6th maniacs actually got ahold of govt officials? Brother we would be living in a fascist state right now.

I don't think people realize how much of an actual threat Trump can be.

I do t think he's Hitler. But he's going to be our first tyrant.

If he wins he could pick more supreme court justices and due to Biden's unpopularity the house and Senate could be lost. If that happens it's very possible that they just push for Trump's term to be extended.
