I’m enjoying this, still standby this being pretty good

I respect that he tried to explore a new sound on this, although Clayco & him are obviously a great duo, i’m glad he didn’t just try to recreate NS or ILCK - even if you don’t fw this you at least have to acknowledge it has its own sound to it

The first third of this is really strong, he sounds super confident on these beats and the first like 12-track run has a great momentum. Love Hurts - Crystal Clear - Lock in - Syrup Sippin are some major highlights for me

As always though, it’s hard not to lose focus towards the end of a 20+, hour long project. Especially when Lone is pretty limited in his subject matter, he doesn’t have much interesting to say but that’s whatever I wouldn’t expect that from him

Too early to rank this alongside his other projects but this definitely doesn’t feel like a regression to me, not sure if it’s a step forward exactly but more so just consistency while exploring a new sound for him

In the same way that there was some absolute flashes of greatness in the bloated ILCK, can say the same for this

Excited to hear PT2, ideally i’d like him to drop it as a separate body of work rather than tack it on as a deluxe, it’s clear Lone struggles with tracklisting in the same way Uzi does, they both have a tendency to leave out gems, so yeah wanna hear how the original iteration of this album sounded before 88 stepped in to exec produce it

Major issue for me is the beats tbh they sound boring and feels like any other trap rapper could hop on them, which was not the case with clayco
