i mean go ahead but i checked the destroy lonely subreddit just to see what people who like lone enough to frequent a subreddit for him think, and a lot of them even said it was kinda boring and samey at parts
The Destroy Lonely subreddit is 16 year olds asking what he has on in every picture
Those are the kind of people I was talking about

their criticisms aren't even that good, mad niggas on there have self admitted snippet syndrome lmao
what if i told you thats his fanbase
So Summrs core fanbase is all the kids that made him drop a pluggnb song out of guilt the same day he dropped a new album? Got it

you right but the general reaction to this album hasnt been that positive
i think the second half is pretty fire but i think the criticisms are quite valid

i do think critiques about the album length are valid though

i just dont get who keeps approving these long album releases
we cant even say its for streams bc none of these new niggas are streaming crazy numbers for it to matter
I get we have to give artists power over their music but at what point do you need a manager or the label to step in and say "This s*** is too long and you could make a classic if you slimmed it down"
Pre-streaming artists had much less control but damn there were SOME positives like cohesive projects that weren't insanely bloated
glad i didn’t listen to any snippets besides brazy girls (which i got now) this time
mind clear🧘💆

yeah i get that fs, it's not the biggest problem for me but it def hurts the album as a whole objectively
i enjoy getting more music from him tho but he coulda dropped more standalone singles or EPs
Bc he sounds bored on the first half with not many interesting flows or melodies
So the album is samey, but somehow the first half is not as good as the second half
how we feelin about this album @nokonevermrs
i havent got a chance to listen yet, ill listen to it tonight and come back with a review
i been spending more on my safety![]()
Only thing common is the guitar lol
Flows different, vocal approach different, is guitar usage in rap songs copyrighted under City Morgue now?
And I like City Morgue btw I just don’t get the comparison it feels forced
