Segadream helped me see the bigger picture . In short mods got to ban people in the serious topics wyling but mods are working for free and the more serious topics in life advice the more overwhelmed they seem.

Good point. But there might genuinely be some people who have bigoted views too who post. The best thing to do in a situation like that is try to convince them to at least have an open mind (unless they're down right spewing hate speech).

After the thread about f***ing dogs lead to a discussion of veganism in this section I left the section.

Section became about trying to show someone you are right or trolling more than anything serious. I got what the user was going for but the fact that the thread extended into another thread. In this case traumatizing or evoking something to prove to be right was like " Enough".

If you have to ask then you know that some are clearly crossing the line. Currently its too much . Saying whatever comes to your mind and thinking you can't or won't be banned gets us to a terrible forum level.
