I understand your problem and agree for the most part. None of that is stupid.

Idk maybe I’ve just lost faith in people as a collective. People wont change until they get to that point in themselves where they can address the problems and hypocrisies in themselves and with the internet being the echo chamber that it is now, its harder and harder for people to look at themselves from a nuanced but critical lens. You’ll always find your tribe on the internet and as long as you stay in line you wont be cast out. Why would anyone feel the need to change if they’re satisfied in their own little bubble with people who share and nurture their ideas and beliefs unconditionally.

I guess off that point, I dont have expectations for internet spaces. And I dont think its healthy to spend energy on worrying about why people are the way they are, or trying to change them. You cant. Just worry about yourself and the change you can make in this world. You cant change people but you can help them. Small steps. Be kind and genuine and let that s*** spread naturally. guess i’ve just been frustrated more lately with people hell I was scared walking around my town at 3 am last night cause I live in a small town with niggas with confederate flags on em. I tend not to worry too much hell I hardly even use socials anymore i’m either at work or chilling but after expressing like genuine grievances that I have that internet MAKES these new niggas who will drill black people down it sucks it seems no one really like, wants to do anything about it
