If a character is taking center stage in an arc they’re going to be revealed. The most comparable example to Imu is Vegapunk.

When the solution to demon possessed Rocks was punch really hard I knew it was over. Could even argue way before that when Oda used to say that he wouldn’t resolve the Kaido fight with a big punch.
