chopper not magically healing everyone in wano was one of the weirdest complaints about the story i can think of. like have the strawhats ever completely reversed what the arc villain did and made everything perfect and wholesome again? even in arcs like alabasta or dressrosa, the people there are still left to deal with the aftermath of the villains reign. hell, chopper didn't heal the kids in punk hazard lol

What Oda said about Hiyori and the end of Wano was pretty wack from a writing standpoint

I have non either tbh I’m bantering really. It took Vegapunk years to copy one devil fruit with his tech. It’s impossible for Chopper to deal with main scientific aspects of the story.

That Hiyori saying "The Kurozumi were meant to burn" wasn't about the bloodline, but just about Orochi himself. Which makes no sense considering the entire reason for Orochi's hate was that the Kurozumi were persecuted and mistreated and hated. Which that part of the story was never addressed or concluded in the people of Wano and their treatment of the Kurozumi that pretty much caused Orochi becoming what he became. Hiyori herself feeling that way is fine, but the overarching theme their was never actually addressed. Now some people say it's a reason to go back to Wano, but we got no clue what'll happen in the future.

Honestly, I LOVED Wano, top 3 arc easy for me (I’m a sucker for feudal Japan and the visuals)

Buttttt Oda did have a s***load of eggs in the basket here and it seems like this is just another one of those eggs not hatching so that Wano itself didn’t become a 200 chapter arc

I do agree that it would have been nice to see chopper do some cool doctor healing stuff and help with the smiles side effects for example instead of his big highlight of the arc being him figuring out that the solution for the dumb ice oni stuff is fire and heat lmaoo

On the one hand chopper healing every disease is his literal dream but on the other hand him discovering some miracle d\*\*\* to reverse what pretty much a botched devil fruit curse would’ve felt kinda hokey even for one piece
