FellaOnly post time skip arc on the level of classic One Piece for me is Whole Cake. Maybe in my top 5.
Yea I love wci.
It's more straw hat focused and has so many classic moments. Also Big mom really was like an unbeatable beast in that arc

I wonder if these film red episodes are canon or not
It would make sense that the reason Luffy's always wanted a musician on his crew is because of Uta being the musician on Shanks crew and his admiration of Shanks.

Good list. Thriller Bark would be A for me tho and Impel Down is my favorite OP arc
Also Amazon Lily is a fire arc tbh. It might not matter much on the grand scale of OP but i loved the adventurous feel it had of Luffy being on his own and discovering this island

Also Amazon Lily is a fire arc tbh. It might not matter much on the grand scale of OP but i loved the adventurous feel it had of Luffy being on his own and discovering this islandThriller Bark is tough for me to rate cause I absolutely love the beginning and end of the arc but I just really didn't care at all about the entire middle chunk. There's some good stuff in there but for the most part it didn't really hit for me.

Water 7/Ennies Lobby are one arc to me and same with Jaya/Skypiea. Both are S tier in my book. Thriller Bark also has to be A for me because it’s one of the funnest arcs to re-read/re-watch. It’s just a great relatively isolated little wacky themed adventure. Solid list though. Micro arcs like Whiskey Peak and The Reverie I can’t really rank. They basically function as intros to other arcs.

it will never cease to amaze me how a bunch of people who can't read japanese will get on twitter and argue about the translation that is wrong without even questioning that perhaps something was lost in translation

I tend to lean more towards the adventure arcs over the big world politics shifting stories. Jaya/Skypiea feels like an encapsulation of the spirit of the series.

This is pretty much my ranking.
Except I would put long ring long land higher, cause it's just the funniest arc in the series for me. It's underrated pure entertainment.
Also putting marineFord in B is kinda wild to me lol
