does luffy melt into a puddle of rubber? That doesnt seem any different to him as he is now. I saw on reddit that his awakening will turn Onigashima into rubber and survive the fall onto the capital, which i think makes the most sense

Still can't believe how goodbl this chapter was. Kaido destroying that cp0 boss. Kaido being a boss becoming my favorite villain. Luffy dead. Momo and Yamato. And that last obvosly

Kaido been the best villain so far since luffy First reached him in onigashima, this is just the cherry on top. Until oda starts focusing on teach again its his time to shine. The flashback gon only solidify his position, he aint the strongest emperor for nothing

look at the colorspread of 1039 and robin's explanation about the trees on sabaody in 496 to get what luffy's awakening is. It's the only thing that ties up to the melting and makes sense of what we've seen luffy do so far

I'm really hoping what's going on is just some kind of expansion of inherited will (maybe tied to DFs) because that's one of my favorite concepts in the story and something that I feel like works with what's going on

yeah definitely, inherited will is the biggest factor in this, JoyBoy cant be just a dormant ability, he's the catalyst in both DFs and inherited will.....

now as far as the last part goes, remember how kaido told luffy ''you cant be joyboy either'' ?? imagine if kaido is defeated by joyboy...that would both make kaido happy to meet defeat in the hands of joyboy and at the same time transfer us into the next arc by the world learning about joyboy and how the world govt and imu reacts

another possible outcome is the momotaro mythology which oda has made many references to which implies yamato and momonosuke take out kaido

next chapter the worst thing oda can do is give us a chapter without luffy only to tease us at the last page which he has done before

but

ive noticed oda has learned from his mistakes

2017 oda would give us in 1043 a crying kaido about how you ruined my best fight and then have him nerf himself on some katakuri (which was dope at the time ngl) s*** and then luffy would recall another power up he's been saving all this time

but nooo, he gave us a top 10-top 5 ish chapter with some endgame s***

Was watching Randy Troy's video on 1043 and he pointed out that Luffy's King Kong Gun in G4 is Luffy learning from the way Bellamy uses his spring spring fruit
