Three of my favorite songs by him

He’s the only credited writers...
But when you look at the credits on some of his weaker releases, there’s ten writers, and all he says is “bleached a******” lines
Tf
All this proves is that the more money niggas make, the less inspired they become.
Edit: I think Hov & Wayne are two of the few anomalies.
He's always written raps the same way fam, most of the verse by himself then gets his co-writers in to help him finish them

No, so why is it that the bulk of his best songs he’s the only credited writer? (sans the producers who also gets writer credits)
Bleached a******s is fire dweebs can’t relate
I understand what he was trying to do, but nah, that s*** ruined what could’ve been one of his best songs.
Not even adding the fact that there’s 37 writers on that s***
Edit: And I’m aware that the producers, the writers of the hook, chorus etc.. + the writers and producers of the samples also gets writers credit.
But this only proves more that when he creates an original song with an original beat, he’s at his best.

He didn't start giving detailed credits til 808s, all the songs post 808s that have only him listed as writer were written by only him (ie NMPILA, Send It Up, lot of Twisted Fantasy)

You don’t know what tf you’re talking about. It’s a legality to provide the names of the collaborators that provide lyrics samples or productions to tracks, unless you pay them off for the track, in which we know he’s never done
Edit: he basically prides himself on what he would call “group work” or whatever, lol.. to deliver the best music, product etc.. To the point that whenever he speaks on the process and work behind his music, he always says “we” rather than “I” etc..
That’s basically his thing

Bro I'm literally telling you what Kanye has said his writing process is, he was doing the wrong thing with crediting and got into legal trouble and beefed with Consequence over it too, that's why he over credits now

He’s literally never said this lmao but ok

Also, if you think this, than why on songs like ‘Jesus Walks’ Rhymefest gets credits when he’s only provided 6 lines
“You know what the Midwest is young & restless”
There’s people to this day that think Rhymefest wrote the song, and Kanye doesn’t even care lol
One of the producers credited on the song is literally in the YouTube comments of Rhymefest’s version of the song arguing that he only provided those lines
It’s crazy when even Kanye’s own stans think that Cons, Rhymefest and/or GLC wrote all of Kanye’s earlier hits, when that’s literally not the case

Bro I literally don't think that, I'm giving him more credit than most, but he had those guys in the studio listening with him giving feedback same as how CyHi and Cons do now
In his whole career I think probably 95% of his raps came from him but there's no point denying facts when he had a falling out with Cons cause he wasn't getting credited for giving Ye 1 or 2 lines on some tracks

I’m sorry but I don’t recall Cons ever doing this. Cons, Rhymefest, GLC, and Malik (most of all) couldn’t help but let it be known if they wrote literally even just one bar for Ye, especially during SHMG/TLOP era.
You think if they wrote a full song/verse etc, or even 25% of it, we wouldn’t have known by now?
Edit: You’re right. Ye even gives the pizza guy writers credit just to avoid being sued lmao

Read what he says about Champion, and he wasn't credited on it
I hate the fact that people think that Ye is just spoon fed full verses from these nerds when that clearly isn’t the case. It’s to the point that niggas act like he’s literally a Dr Dre, whereas his raps is completely pinned by someone else and he just provides the tracks.
He doesn’t care what people think, clearly, but I know for a fact that he penned a good bulk of his material that he doesn’t get credit for.
He raps about it on tracks Kirk ‘Monster’
“Do the rap and track, triple double no assist”
But he clearly doesn’t care how his pen is received.
Idk, I just hate how his pen game virtually has little respect. People think he’s a Cardi B out chea smh

I'm a big advocate that Ye is one of the best rappers ever, and it is dumb that people treat him like a glorified Khaled or Dre when he's received the same help on his raps as a lot of rappers have with mainly a few lines or word changes
No one wrote a whole rap verse for Ye until Violent Crimes
Some of y'all overrate the listing co writers s***. People getting listed for adding a single word lmao
this man consequence was pressed and acting like he ghostwrote the whole track ... and it was over ONE line ??

All the time
Imagine trying to breakthrough on the music scene your entire life, when a dude you’ve known for two decades does so, and became the biggest superstar in the world. If you contribute any little thing to any of his art, you’d overrate tf outta of it.
