All the ballads are a tier above her previous ones. Better writing, better production, better vocal performances, and they feel earned by the narrative instead of tacked on because, hell, there always has to be piano ballads.

just wanted to say this is probably my favorite pop album since the Smerz one or Fancy that (can’t remember which one dropped earlier but I know both were around the same time). This probably better than fancy that though I think. Almost forgot about Virgin but yeah that sounds about right.
