Yeah I know I looked into the load time difference and all that, I know how ssd’s work. But I was just looking for a mass storage device, and with the games I play, it honestly isn’t a huge difference (some games I understand it saves minutes like ff15, rdr2 and gta v but I don’t play those games) and with multiplayer games you gotta wait for everyone to load in.

I was just looking for cheap and big went to Best Buy and get a 5tb price matched with an amazon listing. Works like a charm.

FPS boost and quick resume work on a normal hard drive

Hell even some series x games (even tho they advertise they don’t) work on a hard drive. Halo MCC, the new mass effect, and some others can play off hard drives even though they are series x enhanced.

But yeah most require the new internal ssd

most external hard disk drives over 2TB aren't nearly as fast as the SSDs in the Series X or the expansion card

but thats cool that QR and FPS+ work on a HDD

avoided Forza for so long because i thought Horizon wasnt much different from Motorsport (which is a bit too serious and tryhard lol) but Horizon has those fine tuned difficulty settings for a more arcadey vibe while still keeping it closer to a sim than NFS Heat ever could
