Saying this to a homeless nigga is crazy.
It gives āget it together Grouch!ā Energy.

trying to stick to vegan is difficult for me because even with a supplement sometimes it feels like I am getting brain fog( dont have insurance right now so no way for me to check) could also be a calorie deficit from eating out less. I was vegan for 4 years and coasting then pandemic made me take a break now its difficult getting back
Hes homeless
LMFAO
cause when I was homeless thats when I took a break from Vegan when I did try to eat vegan again homeless I ate clementines and the clementines molded quick and molded my car interior
Luckily on a drive back from giving a friend flowers I accidentially crashed it while on ktt while driving the astroworld thread triggered me lol
I was typing that travis scott wasnt a demon then boom crashed into a car that hard braked. totaled my car it was worth 1-2000 max. I was sleeping in it for days scared I was doomed . Cop wrote it as a hit and run since the other car sped off. Insurance gave me 10k for the car because the mechanic estimator I went to purposely didnt note some things
then I got a new car

l was smoking black and milds and quit. Then am transitioning back to vegan same time. I may try smoking weed again because brain sometimes tries to overthink in dreams so I dont get the fullest of sleep. Otherwise my brain is like "Eat Harolds Chicken in hopes of feeling better" but I am fighting against cravings and trying different supplements and foods. I just feel like my body needs more calories each day

yeah a blessing/curse of a plant based diet is that it's usually easy to stay pretty low calorie since vegetables aren't densely packed like meat and processed food. so when in doubt always eat a little bit more. hit that late night apple with peanut butter. fry up that can of chickpeas with some cilantro. f*** it

Yeah would be helpful to get like a general idea of what you guys eat in a day that keeps your body feeling refreshed. I know we are all different and again I was vegan for like 4 years but currently I am stumped at grocery store

my breakfast mon-fri is a multigrain blend with vegetables microwaved with 3 pieces falafel covered in tabasco lmfaooo
mon-fri for lunch I have a wrap made with tofu, spinach, hummus, falafel, bell pepper, and any other veggies that look good. today was green onions and cilantro.
also have an apple with pb at work plus more snack things, nuts, chips, etc.
dinner is different everyday. Could be pasta, roast vegetables, burgers, a giant salad, a pound of popcorn and a pint of ice cream, a simple stir-fry, whatevers clever

Just started my incredibly long transition to becoming as vegan as possible
Already cut out dairy and I can see improvements in my health already. Hormonal acne is occuring way rarely and to a lesser degree. Stomach issues reduced too(didnāt have many to begin with but every little helps)

After a summer of the most delicious BBQ, trying to go plant-based for 30 days to detox but canāt figure out what to eat. I always eat healthy at home and never buy anything thatās not nutritious so I never eat rice, bread, cereal, anything with sugar or other simple carbs as it is. Donāt really fw soy products unless theyāre fermented either and definitely not touching any Frankenstein āmeat replacementā s*** with a ton of chemicals. Is it even possible to get enough protein without supplementing with powder or eating legumes for every meal? No way am I spending everyday picking rocks out of lentils.

Bro, respectfully, your chicken picture has at least 2.5 breasts in it, thatās over 120 g of protein. Meanwhile your salad recipe has 115 calories of bell peppers in it which is three entire large peppers while the salad picture looks like a small salad. You would have to eat 5 full cups of those Greek chickpeas just to get the same protein as one breast.

that bowl about 30cm across, it's a big salad
i think the bell peppers the only anomaly I shoulda checked closer when we did this s***, feel like a dumbass that I missed that. it's only like ~100cal off the total tho
Anyway you're probably familiar with the "whole protein" concept with all the amino acids and s***.
it's a site that a***yzes the various foods and combines them all to figure out the overall protein from all the foods listed. foods can have buckets of AA's but list 0 protein. That's why the protein total is crossed out on that screenshot and replaced with the real value.
(that chicken picture just a stock photo, pretty sure I remember it was 1 breast + rice)

Is it true that vegan protein sources are higher quality even if less rich in protein than meat?

I wouldn't say higher quality. It's just different amounts of amino acids in various proteins. With meats you're also getting the unhealthy parts (mostly in red meats) of course. But calling plant protein higher quality is just poor phrasing imo. Protein is more or less protein.
But I'm also less versed in the health aspects of veganism because that aint why Im here lol. Should have my wife with her Masters degree in nutrition hop on one of these days and post lmao

I did have no idea that microgreens have protein so about to stock up on those, they delicious af. But still it looks like Iām going to have to supplement with powder, aināt no way I could eat enough salad and legumes daily to hit protein intake.
