You don’t have to eat fish to bulk bruh. Do you really believe 15 min of pleasure is worth an animals life? I think you’ll feel guilty if you go ahead with it, i would. if you’re sure about it maybe just try reincorporating bivalves and see if you’re satisfied with that.

Not gonna lie I never became vegan for 4 years because of the animals, it's always been for the health benefits.

That’s why plant based doesn’t mean vegan. You have the same outlook on animals as meat eaters, watch Dominion and some Earthling Ed

  • Apr 10, 2022

You're right actually, I was just on a plant based diet

How many of ya'll stopped wearing leather and all that? I respect it tbh. Not where I'm at though

Just found out a couple days ago that going vegan is considered sunnah in Islam due to how animals are treated nowadays. Made me happy asf as a rare muslim vegan lol

Sunnah = Arabic term for the prophet Muhammad's (saw) way of life and legal precedent

    If anyone is interested:

Omnis think they can just opt out of watching Dominion because it upsets them and feel good about themselves

You don’t get to just avoid watching evidence of what your dietary habits and consumption literally cause because it’s ā€˜upsetting’ and then go about your day without being the most craven, unscrupulous motherfucker on the planet. I would almost respect it if they watched and said ā€œok, but I’m still eating meatā€. The fact they think they have the right to ignore what they support sickens me to the core. Hypocritical cowardly f***s.

Tbh, I don’t think I would be that mad if a mitherfucker went out and hunted the animal themselves and then cooked it, but the way that we passively buy animals in packaging and opiate ourselves from the systematic mechanics of murder whilst distancing ourselves from the literal animal being consumed is the height of hypocrisy to me. It’s like hiring hitmen or some s***. People just casually going into supermarkets and fast food joints feeling good about themselves. Go and kill the animal yourself or be willing to watch it be killed before you eat it if you are really about that life. You don’t get to distance yourself - you may as well be the killer.

    F*** them all.

I'd say the people who avoid watching the video have a lot more sympathy than the ones who watch it and say "I'm still eating meat". Those people are the ones that are aware of the actual footage and still support it, that shows their morals.

The other group sounds like they really care about the animals since they don't want to see them get hurt, but I'd say we are also victims of a system where the dissonance between us and the "food" we eat is strong. In my opinion you don't need to watch those types of videos to get the point across, I only use those documentaries as a last resort kind of thing if they are really closed off, but the good thing about the internet is we can get our points across more efficiently, and a lot of people have become more sensitive to certain topics so more people will be open to it.

mfs have just been conditioned by society to be these callous and heartless abusers it's sickening

ppl love preaching about breaking your programming and rebelling against the ways our society is trash right up until meal time

I'll still never forget the time when i was like 17 and i had to kill a squirrel that my dog had trapped and chewed up a bit. dude was suffering so badly and i knew it was the right thing to do. his guts were hanging out and s***. that was lowkey such a traumatic event for me and definitely laid some foundation for me becoming vegan

people are just sick man i hate em

    My man

I’ve had GERD and other issues with me gut for nearly a decade now. I’m only a few months into this s*** and I honestly feel like I’m nearly cured. My reflux is virtually non-existent to the point where I nearly forget to take my meds for it.

    Life changing stuff.

oh wow, im going through the same thing but its been getting much better.

I do want to ultimately transition to veganism because of the obvious reasons but its tough finding foods to match a gerd free lifestyle

    Can you explain your diet/lifestyle
