What made you go vegan? I took a philosophy class in college and my professor was a vegan. It took me a while after the class ended to go vegan though

I started dating a vegan. She was a great cook and just made me a lot of good food. After a few months I realized that I should look into why she was vegan and when I learned what happens to the animals I was dumbfounded. From that day forward I been vegan and it's been a walk in the park because I just can't imagine supporting such cruelty.

Just watched a newly released video on pig farms in the UK and I'm sick to my stomach. My soul aches. Nobody cares about animals. It's sickening. Just foul. f***fuckfuck

I agree personally but it f***s with me that some people I know love the zoo so much. I guess they eat meat too though so our ethics are already pretty far apart lol.

Eat All My Meat

I’m not really the type to ever argue with someone who eats meat that they are morally wrong or anything ,but it’s so trash how some people who eat meat act like having to justify it is beneath them. I would much rather deal with “I don’t really care about animals and I just want to eat tasty food” people than “ackshully humans are omnivores and we’ve been doing it for centuries so you’re wrong and racist and elitist for not eating meat”. Espexiallly when those people will freak out and act like you’re crazy if you show them a video of how animals are treated.

Do whatever you want, but don’t come at me for my decision to abstain from a practice which mistreats animals because it makes you feel like I’m judging you.

None of my fam are vegan yet, but both of my grandparents have tried the impossible whoppers and liked them, and my little cousin asks if I can make more "deluxe veggie burgers" I made for us a while back so I'm especially optimistic that he'll be the next one

It's sometimes hard to see close family not join you but hopefully more and more people, especially the younger generation like your cousin, start to come to the light side.

Almost everyday in my gratitude practice i am thankful that my wife is vegan with me. It makes it so much easier. Hopefully you luck out just like me lol!

My most recent ex (we're working on some things and aren't fully done) is the first fully vegan girlfriend I've had and MAN what a gift that is. We both like to cook too, so dinners are always bomb no matter who the chef is that night.

I can only imagine how phenomenal it is when your wife is also vegan
