America need to have a party prioritizing industry return (to the detriment of private interest), a massive public works program to rebuild both utility and social infrastructure (to the detriment of private interest), and tax rates from the 1950’s (to the detriment of private interest) before we worry about how to sell it to the voterbase.

Tax rates and UBI won’t do a thing, these are bandaids to fundamental issues that the parties won’t touch because those issues are caused by their corporate overlords
