That state of the union speech was nonsensical. Multiple times he said literally random sentences that didn’t make sense. Like “Name me a world leader that changed places with xi Jinping! Name me one!” What does that even mean

its not really intrinsic to the event, its that bringing up the context of the event and the mainstream lib/media reaction to the event is a good way to show their base they dont have other options and the opposition hates them. further polarization/policy radicalization etc
