Like art galleries that only showcase high art. It insinuates to anybody who hears you frequent that place you have taste in art that exceeds those of the average consumer. A snob wants you to feel alienated, not enjoy the things you enjoy as well and he’s an extreme version of such a snob. He’s just good a interpreting what he hears and verbalizing his “opinions”
he's just a music critic with a huge following, all the s*** you're complaining about comes with the territory. You don't have to like him lol. People like you always get triggered because he enjoys music that CAN be labeled as inaccessible, but if you think he isn't genuine with his opinions that's just straight up odd...music is subjective, the fact that he has such a huge following just makes it seem like it's objective. His opinion isn't end all be all and he doesn't act like it is...if he was so snobbish he still wouldn't have the following he does.
tl;dr he's a music critic who blew up during the internet age, there's no issue with Fantano until people like you throw a hissy fit and call out his opinion.
