it is wild. didnt know it was mandatory to default someone in this situation - I thought they had option of like various penalties.

like Serena for the weird coaching thing few years ago where they took a game away from her

its like theyre saying now - happened the other week in the western/southern open and because the kid that got hit bounced back on his feet right away, it was just a warning.

like if he hit her in the foot, hes probably still out here.

anyway thiem and zverev final coming up

aint that the truth. he was acting like a punk today. 0-40 and didnt break him + all 3 points were so stupid with the drop shots he kept trying.

then he smashed the ball into the side court after that. then the next game he messed up his left shoulder.

weird vibe leading up to the dumbest moment of his career.

I hate saying this s*** but if it was Rafa or Roger they would’ve walked away with just a warning

probably. the executive guy kept saying it was black & white and he didnt have option.

it seems like nobody really knew the rules

It’s very old fashioned sorta like baseball in that sense

  • Sep 6, 2020

major bullshit. he still the GOAT

  • Sep 6, 2020

ive always liked Djokovic the most cause of the personality. fed was too perfect/media savvy. nadal just didnt like watching play and grind out points that much.

but this comes with the eccentricity. onto the French for him, but US open wide now open for these young bucks.

  • Sep 6, 2020

    Tourney is wide open now

    Are you f***ing kidding me?

These judges are not kids, and if they don't ever see it coming, the body has no time to react and prepare for the hit.

if it was a 25 year old man, he'd have bounced up in 30 seconds and the match would've gone on.

her reaction (flop) impacted the judges decision. not her fault necessarily of reacting like that, she is old and frail.

they need to get me out there. I'd have taken that hit, downplayed and walked it off, and gotten a cool instagram selfie with Djokovic out of it post-game after we celebrate the win together.
