    if you were to make the argument that the tennis scene 5 years ago was even weaker than it is now, then I wouldn't disagree with you. however, outside of alcaraz/sinner, the depth of the past 2 years has def been sorely lacking.

    because Jannik and Carlos are undeniable generational talents and Novak being able to hang with them past prime is enough to show that he would have been equally as dominant at his peak even if he wasn't running into guys like Ruud and Tsitsipas in slam finals.

    carlos said he would give up winning any other slam this year if he can win Aus, Novak knows this is his best and most likely last shot at 25. I pray Nole has some juice left in his legs because this could be a war if he does, both of them want it so badly
