Picked up a 32" 4K monitor for my PS5 and I'm not really f***ing with it.

why

S*** just doesn't look as fire as I thought. It's 4k 60hz so maybe I'm shorting myself for the future with a lower refresh rate. I f*** with the size but it looks kind of washed out.

even then $400-$500 for a game console is insane. not something to go out of your way for since ps4 titles are gonna be supported for at least 2-3 years and by then it'll be more affordable

that being said i'm still gonna cave and get it because 4k120fps

1440p 120hz will always look better than 4k 60hz or even 8k in my opinion

You can downscale from 4k no problem on any decent monitor

How's that work? If you have a 1440p monitor will it upscale to 4k from 1080p? Since PS5 doesn't support 1440

You set the internal resolution of the PS5 to 4k, and the monitor downsamples the signal to 1440p.

Series S has half the frame rate, lower resolution, and still has frame drops and screen tearing with these lower targets
