It's for allowing games to continue downloading even if you're not currently using the console
But tbh if you got solid enough internet connection these games download faster than Usain Bolt anyway

Yeah s*** download and updates while ur not using it
It also saves like 20 seconds of having to go to the game and boot it up
In reality you don’t need to use it with ps5 since it’s so quick
Sackboy loads in literally 2 seconds

this why I aint stressing about hard drive space rn. Downloads so fast especially with this fiber and ethernet that uninstalling and installing what I wanna play not even a big deal
