I was wondering the same thing. Then I remembered that they are a business. All they want to do is move units. However they can. Trust me Sony and these companies LOVE scalpers. They put on a pretty face for the media but the dont care about you or me or little Jimmy who lives with his grandma getting a ps5. Selling units is the name of the game unfortunately.
