I’ve never played a Final Fantasy game (don’t judge me nibba) but I am a bit curious. For those of you who have played FF games, do y’all think the new FF remake is a decent starting point/introduction to the series in my case?
Is bloodborne easier than souls
Different combat system so not exactly easier, but if you're used to dark souls you might get f***ed at the beginning
just curious but do people actually play FFXIV on console? Hows the experience? An MMORPG on console just seems like a weird concept to me
edit: I do mean to say console but the question I really want to ask is how do MMORPGs feel on controllers

For sure. Each FF game is its own story, world and characters.
This is gonna be my first real FF too, I didn’t like FF 15 too much I played it for like an hour lol
I’ve played through the entire Kingdom Hearts series though and the people who make that, make FF

15 story is ass and boring. I just really liked the combat and the world was fun. I couldn’t tell you what happened in that story

The car system in the game was ass. Rly made me sit for 10 mins just to get to one place like wtf.
Combat and world was great but the pacing of the game was completely off

The time jump was the worse part of the story

Perfect place to start, just obviously expect a much more relaxed pace should you decide to try some of the classic FFs after this one

Thanks bro, I appreciate the input 🔥👌🏾

Because it’s only part of the story, the natural next step IMO would be to play the PS1 version (and can follow that up with VIII then IX). If you want more “modern” FFs then I’d do X, X-2, XII in that order. All of the above are also available on the Switch which is really nice to have

I played the beta, and bought it and played it for a month like back in January. It feels fine, they got it all proper and put together well

Yea, pretty sure there's a demo or something you can play maybe
I always wanted to play PSO2, but it was only on japanese psn and it'd hard to understand things when it's all in japanese
But it's coming to PC so i'm waiting for that

I was actually checking for that yesterday, seems that Xbox got a version in english so maybe it will come to ps4 too who knows. I think theres cross save enabled so you might be able to take your PS4 account to PC when it comes out but not sure how that would work

Think it's a timed exclusive thing probably, plus it's Japanese so I'd imagine it'd come to the other regions on ps4 come 2021

I’m pretty sure the beta is the only thing that’s timed exclusive on Xbox not the game itself, I could be wrong though
