DS2Default setting for game mode is fine, I’d check rtings calibration settings for other content you might be watching though. They’ve never let me down
Rtings settings was too dark. Everyone using the ISF preset, the only one I can work with is ISF bright room. Even then I find that the whites are too gray.
On the default standard setting however the whites look white, all I had to adjust was the color temperature because the default is on cold.

true, are you only using the TV in a dark room though, or is it mixed? I have an A8H but basically only use it when it's dark and rtings settings were perfect for me, obviously every TV and viewing environments are different though

The light in the room isn't necessarily bright. It's kinda dark, without of course turning the light off. The window in the room are to the side with curtains so it doesn't interfere with the lighting at all.
Like I said the biggest issue I had was that the whites were way too gray. I can deal with a dark picture but that really bugged me out.
