it does make sense they don't support it. they have their 4K HDR TVs to sell, a small userbase actually using 1440p, etc. disappointed, but it is what it is.

Havent done much research but I read that Sony pretty much dont sell any 1440ps so it does make a lot of sense. Still hate it though

agreed. 1440p is perfect imo. relatively easy to power for higher framerate & looks really great. when i got my first 1440p monitor, i bought another the next day because it made my other 1080p monitor look like s***
