Doesn't that make you an XBOX fanboy? You don't seem too partial in this argument.
Not here to debate you, I just find this interesting.
To be fair I dont think Microsoft's console exclusives are strong but I'm hopeful for the future because of the really strong purchases microsft made(obsidian and ninja theory seem like they will be Microsoft's naughty dog and insomniac). I just have alot of respect for the way they give people a better bang for there buck with gamepass and I personally enjoy the interface of the console more. It doesn't hurt that they have the most powerful console and a good percentage of multiplats run better and look better on an X if the developer actually takes the time to make a good port.
Exclusives aren't everything to me tbh I like having game pass and backwards compatibility more than I care about exclusives.

First TakeI mean they aren’t a perfect company and of course are trying to maximize profits but they’ve given us great consoles and games for so long that I’m not gonna lose respect for the entire company bc of a couple small decisions
I dont think alot of these things are small decisions and if you think it's not gonna get worse with them being number 1 again then I dont know what to tell you.

They’ve been #1 for more than a decade though. And as long as the consoles and exclusives are better than everyone else’s I’ll probably keep buying them. Because Microsoft and Nintendo have their faults too, so for me it just comes down to games and console quality

Spiderman was a really good time as a fan but let's be honest...it didn't do anything new at all and the combat was like a half baked arkham title. Still not bad but not a classic by any means, I'm still hopeful the sequel will be great tho because they have alot they can improve.
Uncharted 4 was the worst in the franchise
Last of us is legitimately the most overrated video game of all time. A good story but nothing more. The best part of that game was factions and the powers at be at sony decided to take that out of the sequel.
God of war to me is there only modern classic and even then I miss the orginal series.

Bro c'mon lol spiderman combat was weak as f*** a knockoff arkham at best. Even the biggest fans of that game admit the combat could use some work. And having to do the same 3 overworld missions over and over got old real fast and then there is nothing left to do in the game. Atleast arkham had challenge arenas after you were done with the story. The difference of content between those game is insane and that's wild considering how much influence spiderman took from the arkham series...atleast add the content.

You are correct about all of these games except God of War, that game was also overrated.
Absolutely no competition from Microsoft this entire generation had led to this bloated praise for Sony.

I think I was just hype too see kratos again but honestly the game definitely has faults. I just dont think we could have another old style god of war in this climate tone wise so I kind of understand why that forced them to change everything but I honestly liked the gameplay of old more.
I was mostly just happy the franchise continued. But yeah alot of sony exclusives end up feeling the same.

Plenty of horror stories with sony support. Is that not a big factor? Because in the digital age...that matters!!!
What else is there when it comes to consoles? It's not rocket science I'm pretty sure I laid it out even easy enough for people like you to be able to understand.
