Mr AldersonSony games won’t be on xbox consoles and xbox games won’t be on sony consoles there is still competition.
PC is not a direct competitor to the console the majority of consumers who live on a console won’t be going to pc
If people were smart they would switch to PC if all other factors were equal.

If all games become multi platform then it eleiminates competition which means a lack of progression. Completion drives products to be the best they can be.

Exclusives are cancer the only people that don't want this are sony stans that live or die by "hAvIng ThE bEst ExClUsIVes!!"
They know that if they lose that "identity" then the xbox becomes the better console and brand considering they do more for the consumer, have the better online, and our now the most powerful console.
I think sony fans are scared and are lashing out and hoping to stay chained to there sony console for as long as possible. "Plz sony make more 3rd party deals screwing over evreyone else!!! We need that to stay the best!!!"

I wouldn’t say that’s do to them losing its more the cost of a new infrastructure with ps4 needed to covered so a switch was made to a paid model. Just like Nintendo did, online became an even more integrated experience with those console more than ever before.

Maybe that’s do to your preference’s? , the most popular games now are competitive multiplayer games hence the esports and streamer boom .
I definitely had more fun last gen multiplayer but that’s definitely do to my preference’s now

Lmao how is Xbox more consumer friendly? Because of the game pass? How about they actually put some effort into a decent game for their fans to enjoy instead of coming out with mid after mid. I'd call a company that focuses on putting out industry leading games for their fans more consumer friendly.
Besides while I agree that the idea of exclusives aren't good for gaming as a whole, the funding the developers receive in order to develop exclusives allows them to take more risks, and push the medium forward. There's a reason some of the best games of the last decade were exclusives, and it's because of the security the devs obtain by making them
