It’s a simulator. It’s to simulate flight. That’s it. If an individual finds entertainment/knowledge value in that then the purpose is served.I have a friend who has a flight & racing setup. To each their own.

redtruth@Wiggler I just finished 13 sentinels and this s*** jumped right up there on my fav games oat list, this s*** really masterclass in story telling. Art style and music was amazing and I actually really fw the RTS segment of the game too; wasn't really difficult even on highest difficulty (I just spammed turrets and interceptors lol) but I found the presentation of it really hard tho, interface looked cool asf to me and the sound design really makes the combat satisfying asf when everything getting blown the f*** up at the same time (idk why but I really love the sound of like a hundred missiles getting placed on the map when you use missile shower)
I don't think I f***ed with a game this much since Nier Automata. Also don't think imma experience a story like that ever again in any medium though and i’m not sure how to feel about that
Idk whats more crazy, the s*** that happens in this story or the fact that someone actually thought all this s*** up
I beat the game a couple hours ago and I feel exactly the same way you do, right down to the Nier Automata comparison. I was just telling my brother about how it's the best game I've played since that one too
I pre-ordered thinking the game was gonna be good at least, but the fact at it went beyond that and immediately jumped into my top 5(?) favorite games of all time list is so wild.
13 Sentinels really is a unique experience from the story itself down to the WAY it's told and unraveled.
The game is easily my GOTY and I immediately see why it became a cult hit in Japan. I hope more people play it
EDIT: I really want to see the scenario drafts for this game because telling a story like this game's through 13 perspectives sounds so difficult on paper.
